Live From The Divide welcomes Joshua Ray Walker for the second of two consecutive nights in our listening room, offering fans two opportunities to experience one of Americana's most compelling songwriters up close.

Born and raised in Dallas, Walker has built a devoted following through vivid, character-driven songwriting that blends classic Texas country with modern emotional depth. Since his 2019 debut, he has released six studio albums, performed more than 2,000 shows across the U.S. and Europe, and made multiple appearances on the Grand Ole Opry while establishing himself as one of the most distinctive voices in modern Country and Americana music.

His latest album, Ain't Dead Yet, is his most personal work to date. Written and recorded before, during, and after cancer treatment—including sessions the day before lung surgery that could have permanently affected his voice—the album reflects on mortality, resilience, gratitude, and hope through the honest, unflinching songwriting that has become Walker's hallmark. Rooted in pedal steel, fiddle, and classic country instrumentation, it documents a remarkable chapter in both his life and career.
