Live From The Divide welcomes John Moreland for an intimate night of modern Americana songwriting, folk-rock reflection, and hard-earned truth.

Widely regarded as one of the great singer-songwriters of his generation, Moreland has built a devoted following through songs that are deeply personal, emotionally direct, and quietly devastating. His work has earned praise from outlets including The New York Times, Fresh Air, and Pitchfork, along with a place in the upper echelon of contemporary Americana artists.

Following the sonically adventurous Birds In The Ceiling and a year-long pause from touring, Moreland returned with Visitor, a 2024 folk-rock record shaped by rest, reflection, and a renewed commitment to simplicity. Recorded at home in Bixby, Oklahoma, the album finds Moreland reconnecting with the raw immediacy of his breakthrough records while exploring alienation, healing, digital overwhelm, and the search for truth in a noisy world.

Direct support comes from Georgia Maq, best known as the frontwoman of acclaimed Australian punk trio Camp Cope. In her solo work, Maq trades punk's urgency for sharp, emotionally candid indie-pop songs that explore heartbreak, self-discovery, and connection with equal parts vulnerability and wit.
